Bliss Gems: Client Mod Install

Bliss Gems · Gem Key Settings Client Mod

Most gem abilities on the server work with no install at all. Only the in-game Gem Key Settings menu — the one you open by pressing = or typing /bliss keys — needs this small add-on. It lets you assign any keyboard key or mouse button to each of the four ability slots.

Install once · 3 steps

Install

1

Download the add-on
Download bliss-gems.jar (26.2 client companion — ~175 KB)
2

Drop the .jar into your Minecraft mods folder

  • Mojang Launcher (Windows): %appdata%\.minecraft\mods
  • Mojang Launcher (Mac): ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods
  • Prism / CurseForge / ATLauncher / Modrinth: your instance’s mods folder
3

Restart Minecraft and join the server.

Compatibility — what version this is for

Download the jar and run it with exactly this setup:

  • Minecraft client: Java Edition 26.2 — this download is built specifically for the 26.2 client
  • Mod loader: Fabric (Loader 0.19.5 or newer)
  • Library: Fabric API 0.159.0+26.2 (or a newer 26.2-compatible release)
  • Java: 25 or newer (the launcher’s bundled runtime is fine)

The server remains on 26.1.2. Via lets a 26.2 client join it; this companion jar is for that 26.2 client only. Fabric will reject it on a different client version.

Check it works

Press = in-game — the Gem Key Settings screen should open. Click a slot, then press any keyboard key or mouse button to bind it. Nothing happens? Press ESC → Options → Controls → Miscellaneous and look for “Open Gem Key Settings”. If it is not there, the add-on did not load.

Notes: Without the add-on every gem ability still works normally; nothing breaks. Key bindings are saved per player on the server, so you can rebind any time with = or /bliss keys. Need help? Ask in server chat.
